\n1. The Pity Card<\/strong>When a man tells you\u00a0he\u2019s not interested<\/strong>\u00a0in a relationship,\u00a0it MIGHT be true, but it might not<\/strong>. He might be playing one of 5 \u201ccards\u201d here\u2026<\/p>\n

He\u2019s telling you he\u2019s not interested, just broke up, etc., because he hopes to get some tasty-sweet woman-sympathy.\u00a0It\u2019s an attention thing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Playing this card might even get him some\u00a0\u201cpoor brokenhearted baby\u201d<\/em>\u00a0sex.<\/p>\n

Which\u00a0could develop into regular bootie calls<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

WARNING<\/strong>. You probably already know that women tend to hope that\u00a0bootie calls\u00a0will turn into a deeper relationship. Men don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

2. The \u201cScreening for Bootie Calls\u201d Card<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This one is a version of the truth. He\u2019s NOT interested in a \u201crelationship,\u201d but he IS\u00a0interested in sex<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3. The \u201cI\u2019m in Control\u201d Card<\/strong><\/h2>\n

He tells you this IN CASE he might want to date you.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve backed off, so now\u00a0he gets to call all the shots<\/strong>\u00a0if he decides he wants to.<\/p>\n

4. The \u201cEasy Exit\u201d Card<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Once he\u2019s told you he\u2019s not interested, he can freely make a play for you, and you\u2019re all off-balance. (He\u2019s in control.)<\/p>\n

So if you date for a while or even sleep together, and then he decides he\u2019s ready to move on, he has a\u00a0ready-made exit excuse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He can quickly and easily put all the responsibility for \u201cmisunderstanding<\/strong>\u201d on you.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he can casually say,\u00a0\u201cI TOLD you I wasn\u2019t interested in a relationship.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

5. The Truth<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yep, some guys say it\u00a0because it\u2019s true<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And some guys say it because it\u2019s true, then change their minds and decide to date.<\/p>\n

How to RESPOND to his\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m not interested\u201d<\/em>speech<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Take him at his word.<\/p>\n

Assume<\/strong>\u00a0he\u2019s telling the gospel truth, and\u00a0leave him alone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This means you move forward with your life, immediately.\u00a0Date other men\u00a0and\u00a0don\u2019t put your universe on hold<\/strong>\u00a0in hopes that something might develop with this guy.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t behave like his girlfriend or his bootie call.<\/p>\n

Be clear that if he\u2019s interested in dating you, then your outings have to be\u00a0actual dates,<\/strong>\u00a0not\u00a0\u201clet\u2019s watch Netflix at my place then have sex\u201d<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0\u201cI need to fill some social gaps\u201d<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0\u201cyou\u2019re the only one available, so why not.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

You\u2019re worth so much more than that.<\/strong><\/p>\n
